Oz Campground – Plan for Resuming Full Operations

​

We’ve all struggled with this pandemic and have all been impacted in some way.   Most of us just want to return to a semblance of normal, even though we realize that “Normal” may not mean what it used to.   With a lack of clear direction, and a confusing array of data, we are cautiously putting plans in place for reopening Oz Campground in the month of May.   While new information may compel us to alter these plans, here’s our plan as of now.

Ø  May 1:   Reopening all Cabins, RV Sites and Tent Sites.   Pool and Hot Tub will be open, no bar, no café, no entertainment.

Ø  May 8:   Begin offering Day & Night Passes.   Re-opening the RV Room and Sugar Shack (with strict guidelines)

Ø  May 15th:  Opening the Café.   While we have not finalized plans at this point, we MAY be offering Take-Out only.   We’ll have a better idea as we get closer to the 15th

​

Ø  May 22nd:   Memorial Day Weekend.    Entertainment has cancelled, the White Party has been cancelled – but we WILL have a schedule of things to do.

Ø  The Bar & Alcohol Sales:   As of today, there is no guidance as to when we’ll be able to reopen the Bar.  Our current hope is that we can open the Pool Bar on May 15th with extended hours.   We’ll be watching this VERY closely and let you know what our opening schedule is.
